You can request time away, both Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time Off (STO) on the Dayforce website or the mobile app. This is also where you can locate your current PTO and STO balances.


On the website:

1. Log into Dayforce

Note: If you need help logging into Dayforce reach out to your manager . Once you log in please set up your security questions to receive automated password resets in the future by using these instructions.


2. Click on the menu in the upper left corner and select Time Away List.



3. To submit a request for time away select Request New Time Off. You may also review all your time away Balances.



4. In the Create Time Off Requessection, select a Reason for the time away (Sick, PTO, Unpaid), the date(s), and full-day or half-day increments. 


5. Click Submit and the Time Away Request will be sent to your manager for review.



In the mobile app:


1. Log into the app and select the hamburger menu in the upper left corner. 


2. Next select Time Away on the side panel.


3. Select the three circles in the top right corner.


4. Click New Request


5. Select the type of time away you wish to request. Next choose the date(s) for the time away and All Day or Half Day.


6. Click Save in the upper right corner to submit for approval. Your Time Away Request will be sent to your manager for review.
