At the beginning of each year Motivate issues year end tax statements that allow you to complete your annual taxes. These statements, the W-2 and 1095-C, will by default be mailed to the address in your Dayforce profile and are also available in the Earnings section of Dayforce. To receive your W-2 and 1095-C exclusively in electronic format, please follow these 5 steps. This process is not available in the Dayforce mobile app and can only be done using a web browser.

 

1. Log into Dayforce


Note: If you need help logging into Dayforce, reach out to your manager. Once you log in, please set up your security questions to receive automated password resets in the future by using these instructions.


2. On the home page, click on Profile & Settings link located under your name and role. 

 

 

3. The next screen will open to your Profile

 

4. Scroll down until you see Payroll Information on the right side of the page. At the bottom of this section locateYear End Form Delivery section.  If the text to the right of Year End Form Delivery is [None] then you have not yet signed up for electronic delivery.  Click the blue pencil icon edit your delivery preference.

 

 

 

5. Once the Year End Form Delivery window opens, read the consent disclaimer and click the W-2 and/or 1095-C checkboxes to elect to receive these documents electronically. Next click Approve.

 

 

Motivate will make year end forms available to you by January 31st. After that date you may use the How do I get a copy of my W2 or 1095-c? instructions to access them and print or convert them into a pdf.
