We encourage everyone to vote in their local, national and primary elections. If you do not have sufficient time to vote, (as defined below), because of your scheduled working hours, you will be given up to two hours to vote, unless otherwise required by state law.  The two hours shall be compensated at your regular rate of pay. You must notify your manager of the need to use Voting Leave so they may submit the request for payroll.

Voting Leave

1. Regular Full-Time Employees, Regular Part-Time Employees, and Seasonal Employees who are registered voters and who do not have sufficient time to vote in any election may request up to two (2) hours of paid leave for the purpose of voting.

2. An Employee will be deemed to have sufficient time to vote if he or she has four (4) consecutive hours either between the opening of the polls and the beginning of his/her/their working hours, or between the end of the shift and the closing of the polls.
