Who is eligible to refer? 

ALL Motivate LLC employees! However, the following are not eligible for the referral award payout: 

  • Recruiters and hiring managers for positions in which they are hiring 
  • Consultants, contractors, and others who are not Motivate employees 

Who is a qualified referral? 

Qualified employee referral candidates are defined as family, friends, and acquaintances, except: 

  • Current and past Motivate LLC employees
  • Candidates independently sourced by recruiters who are currently being considered
  • Candidates initially referred by an outside source, such as an employment agency or search firm
  • Seasonal and temporary employees, unless specifically noted as eligible for an employee referral award
  • Interns or contractors 

     

Eligibility to Receive Referral Award and Steps to Follow 

To be eligible for an employee referral award, you must: 

  1. Ask your referral to apply to the job posting and list you as the referrer (it is important that the candidate identifies you as the referrer) 
  2. Fill out this this form and submit prior to the candidate's start date
  3. To participate, the referring employee must be actively employed at the time of the referral and at the time of payment of the referral award 
  4. The hiring of a referred candidate must occur within 6 months of the initial referral date 
  5. The referral must represent the candidate’s first contact with the company 
  6. The first employee to refer a candidate is the only referring employee eligible for the referral award 
  7. Following the 90th day of the referred employee’s employment, the referring employee will be eligible for the referral award payment. 
  8. Payment will be made the first pay period of the following month. For example, if the referred employee's 90th day is September 17th, the payment will be made with the first pay period in October.

Important notices:

  • The referring employee must fill out and submit the referral form prior to the candidate's start date. Submissions of the referral form received after the candidate starts will not be eligible for award payout.
  • The candidate needs to list the employee as their referral source when submitting their application.

 

2024 Referral Award Payments 

$300 Regular, full-time and part-time positions

$250 Seasonal positions


Throughout the year, we reserve the right to make changes to our referral program. We’ll communicate any change to the program clearly and timely to all employees. Those who have referred candidates before an award was changed will receive the appropriate award payment amount.
