Eligible employees and associated managers with job functions in Assembly & Deployment, Battery Swappers, Station Technicians, Service Delivery, Spheara, and UMS are notified of the shoe requirement during their onboarding, prior to doing any operational work. Motivate LLC will provide proper safety toed shoes for eligible employees, once training has been completed, as based upon their job functions, and associated potential risk. Employees may be eligible for new footwear once every rolling 18-months. If an employee needs to replace their shoes or loses their shoes during that 18-month timeframe, they are responsible for the full cost of replacement, unless the shoes were damaged or destroyed in a work-related incident. In such cases, employees will be provided with a replacement pair of their choosing through our Shoe Program Portal selections.
Through our national partnership with Shoes for Crews, Motivate LLC eligible employees are extended one free pair on select safety shoes as shown on our Shoe Program Portal.
Follow the steps below to upload your shoe of choice and show size into Dayforce:
- Log in to Dayforce either on a computer or mobile device. If you have multiple roles in Dayforce, make sure you are in the Hourly Employee role.
- On the left-hand side, click on the Menu Bar
- Click on Profile
- Click on Forms
- Click on Shoes for Crews Located Underneath the Professional Tab
- Click on Approved Styles to Locate the Available Shoes
- Review the Approved Styles
- Return to the Form and Locate the Desired Shoe Style
- Select the Required Shoe Size
- To Request a Half Size, Place in the Comment Section
- Click Submit to Complete the Form
