You can add an account for direct deposit, edit an existing account, or change the amounts going to different accounts in Dayforce on the website and in the mobile app by following these steps. If you prefer you may sign up for a payroll card instead. More information on payroll cards can be found here.
Please note that it may take 1 or 2 pay cycles from the time the account information is submitted in Dayforce for the changes to be active.
1. Log into Dayforce
Note: If you need help logging into Dayforce, reach out to your manager.
2. On the home page, click on Profile & Settings link located under your name and role.
3. Then select Forms
4. Scroll down to Personal forms and click Direct Deposit
4. Click + Add
And enter your account details
If you only have one account, that account should be designated as the Remainder. If you have more than one account, the last one should be designated as the Remainder. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order of your deposits.
In the mobile app
1. From the home menu, tap the 3 horizontal lines menu icon and then select My Profile.
2. From My Profile, tap the Edit option in the upper right corner and from the menu on the bottom choose Edit Direct Deposit.
3. To edit existing accounts tap the account you wish to edit and if you don't have a bank account associated with your profile select + Add Account.
4. Complete all fields:
- Account Type (Checking or Savings),
- Account Number
- Confirm Account Number
- Routing Number
- Name of Financial Institution
- Deposit Type (Remainder / Full Amount, Monetary Amount, Percentage)
If you only have one account, that account should be designated as the Remainder. If you have more than one account, the last one should be designated as the Remainder. When your finished click Done.
*Please note, if you are making any changes to your direct deposit information, it may not take effect in the immediate next payroll depending on the timing of your changes. You may receive a paper check for the following payroll cycle until the bank confirms accuracy (for example, full check amount to a new institution and/or account number). *
