Battery safety is one of the most important parts of the work we do. Best practices and expectations from Lyft are updated frequently. To see the most up to date handling instructions, please see the Lyft SOP linked below.
It is expected that AOMs will stay up to date on the SOP. Please be mindful when printing the document out that it will not stay current to the safety requirements.
Expectations for the AOM team:
- All DBRs submitted by EOS
- All Purple Screen and Battery Escalations packed in Vermiculate by EOS
- All End of Life batteries packaged and boxed
- All Damaged and EOL batteries labeled with date of packing
- Pallets must be labeld, if Blue Bin Damaged Batteries are not Palletized, they must be labeled
- All battery carts organized by flashing status
- Any damage to flashing station reported by email to Market leadership
- Any supply shortages reported by email to Market leadership
